Jewellery Photography Commission

Back in December last year, I photographed some jewellery for Juleo Jewellery in Bluewater Kent, for their Christmas advertising campaign; you can find out more about that shoot on this link – Jewellery Store in Bluewater Shopping Centre.

I recently received further notification from the designers who commissioned me the job, that the campaign was so successful that the 20 foot banners displaying my photographs were going up again in Bluewater and another ad was being published into SO magazine for Valentines!

Jewellery Store in Bluewater Shopping Centre Kent

Bluewater Shopping Centre Jewellery Store

Last month I was commissioned by Freelance Creative Director, Darran Fry to photograph some rings as part of a Christmas advertising campaign for Juleo Jewellery which is at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent. It was on a very tight deadline to complete the commission; however I completed the work on time and received very positive feedback from the client and the designers!

… So much so that they commissioned me again!

The brief was simple enough; to shoot individual pieces across a range of jewellery, (more rings, necklaces, pendants and earrings) that would be composited into their respective collections, printed on banners; and then be displayed in Bluewater as part of the stores Christmas campaign.

This was another very tight deadline, with no room for error at all! If my work wasn’t completed in time and to the required high standard, then there would be no time to have them printed; and therefore not ready for the Christmas displays… So no pressure then! Regardless, this is the sort of pressure that I love to work under; and I completed the job on time and to their brief exactly.

I knew that my photographs were being published in SO Tunbridge Magazine as part of an advert for the store and also to be used on some advertising banners; however after a quick visit to Bluewater this morning, I couldn’t believe the extent to which they were being displayed!

They were printed on 20 foot high banners along the entire length of the ‘Guildhall’ section of Bluewater!

To see my work being used in one of largest shopping centre in the UK at Christmas time has to be one of my biggest photography highlights to date!
