Portfolio & Model Shoot – Southbank Graffiti Wall and Leake Street
While this year has been one of my busiest yet in terms of bookings, it’s also meant that I haven’t had as much opportunity to shoot just for fun; and while I continually learn every time I pick up my camera, it’s also really important to keep developing skills, as well as challenging what I already know! So when the opportunity came up recently for a get together with some other great photographers, a professional model (Sarah Swift) and excellent makeup artist, (Kirsty Marie) to just to bounce ideas off each other, practice; and basically just have some photography fun, I jumped at the chance!
Initially we got to work (play!) around London’s Southbank Graffiti wall and park area; and I can’t forget to give a big shout out to the lad who very kindly let us borrow his skateboard!
Then later in the day, it was on to Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel, (Under Waterloo Station) for even more setups, clothing changes for Sarah and makeup styles; and not forgetting the very privileged use of a Harley Davidson (thanks David!) to use in the sets too!
We finished up on a covered footbridge close to Waterloo Station ,for yet another change of clothing and the challenge of trying to photograph a model during the commuter rush hour!
A brilliant day’s shooting and a whole lot of fun!
